What's New

New features and improvements shipped to DartBracket, newest first.

  1. Improvement

    A face lift

DartBracket has a fresh new look: warm dark tones with gold highlights, cleaner headings and crisp, easy-to-read numbers on the scoreboard. Everything works just like before – it simply looks better doing it.

  2. New feature

    Score by visit total

Switch the scorer to the new Total pad to type a whole visit (like 134) instead of each dart. Switch back any time, mid-match.

  3. New feature

    New tournament wizard

Creating a tournament is now a 4-step wizard: basics, format & rules, group settings and a final review before anything is created.

  4. New feature

    Doubles tournaments

Tournaments can now be played as Doubles. Organisers pair the roster into teams during setup, and teammates take turns throw by throw against the other team – the starting teammate alternates each leg. Personal stats stay with the player who threw them, the team takes the match, and a Swap button lets you fix an out-of-order throw without costing the leg. The profile page now splits your stats into Solo, Team and All combined.

  5. New feature

    Co-admins for tournaments

Organisers can now invite a friend as a co-admin. Co-admins can score matches, manage boards and queueing, and correct finished results – with their own name recorded on corrections – and, before the draw is made, add, remove and seed players. Making or clearing the draw, deleting the tournament and editing its details stay with the organiser. One invite carries both roles: pick Player, Co-admin, or both.

  6. New feature

    Download my data

Players can now download a copy of everything stored about their account as a JSON file – profile, tournament defaults, tournaments they created, matches they played, season standings and friends – from a new "Download my data" button on the Profile page.

  7. New feature

    Edit tournament details

Organisers can now update a tournament's title, date & time, location and notes after creation – from an "Edit details" button on the tournament page. Rules, rosters and brackets stay untouched.

  8. New feature

    Correct finished match results

Tournament organisers can now edit completed match scores. The bracket is protected: a winner change is blocked if the next round has already started or finished, and every correction is logged on the match.

  9. Improvement

    Smarter checkout suggestions

Finishes are now ranked to leave you on a comfortable double, and the checkout chart and calculator show alternative ways to finish.

  10. New feature

Closest to bull decides the first throw

Turn it on before a match and pick who threw closer to the bull – that player starts the first leg.

  11. New feature

    Friends, invites and season highlights

Add friends, invite them straight into a tournament, and spot them in season standings.
